FAQ
How should I prep my curls/waves for my haircut appointment?

To ensure the best possible results, I need to see your curls in their natural state-defined but not manipulated. Please follow these steps the day or night before your appointment.
-
Cleanse, condition, and fully detangle your curls.
-
After rinsing, scrunch, blot gently and allow your hair to air dry or diffuse on low.
-
Avoid using stylers- a light leave-in conditioner is fine. Please skip gels, foams and creams.
-
Do not finger coil, brush style or stretch your curls in any way.
-
On the day of your appointment, wear your hair down and completely dry. Avoid wearing hats, clips, ponytails or buns.
If you wet your hair the morning of your appointment, it must be 100% dry and worn down when you arrive.

How should I prep my curls/waves for my color only, no cut appointment?

To help prevent scalp sensitivity, please avoid washing your hair on the same day as your color appointment. Instead cleanse, condition and detangle one -two days before. Arrive with your hair dry and free of heavy styling products or root touch up powders/spray.

Yes. I'm confident and well-versed in working with all curl types and textures. Along with continuing my advanced training,
I've spent years educating other stylists on curl-specific techniques so you can feel assured that your hair is in experienced, capable hands.
